Within the BUCS Water Polo competition, teams from tertiary educational institutions compete in a league programme from October to February. There are a range of divisions with each team competing in their respective divisional cup competition throughout the season. The Championship and Trophy finals typically occur on ‘Big Wednesday’ when all BUCS sports teams play their final matches in a centralised, multi-sport facility.
